Confidence in the Classroom

This course is aimed at schools support staff that work in the classroom environment, and is suitable for both primary and secondary education settings.
The course will be delivered over 2 hours with our tutor Jos Andrews, and will include a 30 minutes question and answer session.
This course will cover;
– Understanding the skills you already have and building on them
– Exercises for the classroom and presentations
– Tips and tricks to help you work well as part of a team
Jos Andrews is an education consultant and trainer who has delivered many successful courses for Unison. She was an ex Head of English (Secondary and FE), examiner at GCSE and A Level and wrote courses for school support staff for the Open University and Unison partnership. She was a series producer in the education department for BBC and has co-written eight Quick Reads books with leading sporting figures. She was a torchbearer at London 2012, nominated for her work in inspiring young people.

This course is organised by UNISON Cymru Wales and is funded by the Wales Union Learning Fund (WULF). To attend this course, you must be living/working in Wales and be employed in the education sector.
