Fun with Words

Arts Connection

Two relaxed and inclusive creative writing sessions with Spoken Word Poet Martin Daws. Session 1 will introduce the group, look at the importance of telling our story, and introduce an accessible writing exercise. Session 2 will look at how we can take the work created in Session 1 and develop it further.

Acclaimed as a Spoken Word Poet, Live Performer, and dynamic Creative Educator Martin Daws is a former Young People’s Laureate for Wales (2013-16), has toured Internationally and published two collections of his work: Skintight the Sidewalk (2008) and Geiriau Gogs (2016). Founder of bi-lingual super group Bardd, he is active as a solo recording artist and in demand collaborator.
