Macrame is a very satisfying craft that has made a huge come back in recent years, it’s popularity is due to its versatility, you also get to see a design grow very quickly with the use of a few simple knots. In this 1 hour workshop you will be learning the 4 main knots used to make many macrame items to make a wall hanging. You will just need some string or rope and a nice branch or piece of driftwood. Your tutor for the session, Gemma from Lark Design Make, has many years teaching experience and is looking forward to guiding through the process step by step.
Materials needed
a tree branch (25cm- 50cm long),
8 x 2.5 metre lengths of twine, string or rope
Scissors
Somewhere to hang your branch as you will work vertically
