The Poet as Pamphleteer? Poetry between Two Plague

If R Williams Parry was concerned in the 1930’s that the poets of his generation could preach too much politics, he would certainly have enough reason to be concerned today! In this session, I will consider how my work and that of others has coped with the two horrifying Plagues of our times – Brexit and the Coronavirus pandemic, asking if Welsh poetry has flourished or faltered under such circumstances.
