Dove Workshop Taster Event

A free community event on Tuesday, 23 September at Banwen Community Centre, offering a fun and engaging day out for local residents and families while highlighting the wide range of adult learning opportunities available through the Dove Workshop.

Running from 10 am to 3 pm, the event is a collaborative effort between Dove Workshop, Adult Learning Wales, Powys, Neath Port Talbot Adult Learning and NPTC Group of Colleges. It aims to showcase the variety of courses on offer and provide visitors with the opportunity to try out activities through hands-on tasters.

Activities on the day will include tasters in:
• Art
• Pyrography
• Digital skills
• Photography
• British Sign Language (BSL)
• Welsh love spoon carving
• Numeracy and literacy

In addition to exploring what’s on offer for adults, families are also encouraged to join in and enjoy free refreshments, an ice cream van, and children’s activities, including face painting.
