Introduction to rapid rainforest assessments and management

Launched in December 2020, the Eryri Ambassador programme is an unique training opportunity to learn about what makes Eryri exceptional and playing a part in protecting the National Park for generations to come. The Eryri Ambassador programme offers high quality training to individuals of all backgrounds who wishes to learn more about the National Park. Most of the training is delivered online, however face to face events and training is undertaken when opportunities arise.

This particular event will be co-ordinated by Eryri National Park (The Welsh Celtic Rainforest Project in particular) and Plantlife. The morning will include presentations from project team and experts in the village hall of Llanelltyd, followed by an afternoon of training in the rainforest looking at different species of trees and liken and other biodiversity within the habitat.
