Access to HE is a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification designed specifically to prepare individuals, typically aged 19 and over, who lack traditional entry qualifications (like A-levels or the Welsh Baccalaureate) for university-level study. These intensive courses, usually lasting one year full-time or two years part-time, provide students with the necessary academic subject knowledge and essential study skills to confidently progress to a wide range of degree programmes at universities across the UK.
The session will be run by Claire Swales, a Quality Assurance Agency officer whose remit covers the quality of Diploma provision across the UK.
Adult Learners’ Week runs 15–21 September 2025 – find out more about other sessions on offer at www.adultlearnersweek.wales/find-an-event/
