Social Care Wales
Social Care Wales is the national organisation responsible for leading improvement and development across social care, early years and childcare in Wales. We work with professionals, employers, people who use care and support services, and partner organisations to improve outcomes for children, adults, families and carers.
Our role includes supporting workforce development, setting professional standards, promoting best practice, and ensuring that social care workers have the skills, knowledge and qualifications needed to deliver high-quality services. We also maintain professional registers, provide learning and development resources, and lead research and innovation to strengthen the sector across Wales.
Through collaboration, regulation and continuous improvement, Social Care Wales aims to make a positive difference to care and support services, helping to ensure that people in Wales receive safe, effective and person-centred care.
