To celebrate Adult Learners’ week, we invite you to join us for an evening of discovery. Come along to Parc y Scarlets, meet our team of friendly lecturers and have a go at some of our free activities that will give you a taste of the Adult Learning opportunities on offer at Coleg Sir Gâr.

– Learn Digital Direct – Over 4000 online courses to choose from!
This is an opportunity to find out and sample one of the 4000+ short courses we offer via the Learn Digital Platform all over South Wales. There are a huge variety of areas and topics covered with Learn Digital Direct, and you learn at your own pace! Unlike Traditional eLearning, you attend a weekly timetabled courses with tutor support, however you learn independently and at your own pace. Come along, sample a couple of courses and discuss your needs with our friendly tutors.
– Agriculture and Gardening – Learn chainsaw skills!
Whether you are looking to use a chainsaw in your own garden, or develop a career using a wide range of cutting, felling and disposing we offer a wide range of short courses which cover chainsaw maintenance, cross cutting, felling, brush cutting, wood chipping plus many many more. Come and see a selection of the tools we use and find out more about the training and funding opportunities.
– Discover Animal Science – Behaviour, observations & adaptations – Have a go at what you could be doing on our degree courses – undertake animal behaviour observations, identify parts of the animal skeleton, investigate how different animals have adapted to the habitat and more.
