‘How to support children to be critical thinkers online and develop their digital resilience and wellbeing’ – A free online webinar

As part of Adult Learners’ Week, Dr Sangeet Bhullar from WISE KIDS is delighted to be offering a free 90 minute online interactive webinar for parents, foster carers and professionals across Wales on the 20th of September 2023 from 5.15pm to 6.45pm (using Teams).
This webinar will provide a brief overview of the changing digital landscape, including the development of new AI based search like Chat GPT. It will also explore the opportunities and challenges that being online can present to children and young people. It will help parents/carers/professionals understand how they can develop their children’s critical thinking, digital literacy and digital wellbeing in an age-appropriate way so they are better able to use the Internet positively and safely. The webinar will also share practical resources and strategies participants can use to support them in this role.
