Bridgend College

Bridgend College is a multi-award-winning institution within the Further Education (FE) sector. Established in 1928, the College has since been developed across its campuses located in Bridgend and Pencoed.

Courses range from GCSEs to Honours Degrees, with part-time and full-time study opportunities available. Part-time courses in a wide range of subject areas also include Personal Learning Accounts (PLA), a programme funded by the Welsh Government which allows those who meet the criteria to access free courses and professional qualifications to develop skills.

These courses can help you take charge of your career, progress in your current role or simply develop skills in an area that you’re passionate about. Courses are available from short programmes to those that can be completed over 2 years.

The College also works closely with more than 300 businesses and employers, offering bespoke training and flexible opportunities. This partnership provides students with access to blended learning options, including apprenticeships, internships and work placements.

In addition, Bridgend College offers a portfolio of higher education programmes, working in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University and as a collaborative partner of the University of South Wales.
