GoConnect are an education and training social enterprise, formed in November 2013 to help tackle poverty and social exclusion in the South Wales Valleys. Specialising in enterprise, employability and digital skills training for less advantaged groups, we believe in generating a level playing field to give everyone access to opportunities to help identify their aspirations and reach their full potential. Our aims and objectives are to:

• Support True Social Mobility – Breaking down the personal, economic and social barriers to enable people to move forward in society

• Improve Collaboration between the third sector and business sector to improve economic outcomes and boost community engagement

• Improve access to business and innovation for less visible groups in the wider communities.

Our programmes are delivered so that each person involved can take away positive experiences. Whilst there is a focus on Digital Skills and Enterprise, we ensure the skills and experiences gained along the way are transferrable and add value to people’s development and future employability.
