Muddy Care CIC

Muddy Care is a ground-breaking, innovative long-term rehabilitation and lifelong support community, for people who suffer with chronic medical conditions. It focuses holistically on all aspects of health and wellbeing; physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, environmental and social.

There are several facets to Muddy Care but at the heart of everything we are doing, we are listening directly to what people with chronic conditions need for continued health and wellbeing and providing support for those with chronic conditions. The severity of chronic conditions varies tremendously and our aim is to cater for a wide range of chronic condition audiences through our various muddy events.

Muddy Care has been designed and written through the eyes of someone with several chronic conditions and we continuously work closely within our community with people of all ages and various chronic conditions listening to their needs and struggles. Our goal is to help you make your future as bright as possible.

Muddy Care builds hope, resilience, friendships, provides peer support, information, strategies and tools to self-manage chronic conditions more independently, promotes holistic health and wellness and a community that works collectively and cooperatively with other communities.

We will help people move forwards positively in their lives with their illness, injury, condition or disability. This will be done in a safe, nurturing environment that will promote fitness, health and wellbeing, socialisation, support, empathy, fun, learning and teaching about the natural environment, mindfulness and improve self-esteem.

Muddy Care will emphasise to participants that even though they have a chronic health condition, their future has many bright possibilities and Muddy Care can assist in opening doors to many of those opportunities.
