Unite WULF covers all of Wales and most sectors where there are Unite members and has helped thousands of workers and union members to upskill and be job ready. We organise a broad range of training including Health & Safety, Mental Health and Wellbeing, literacy, numeracy and digital skills training, and any qualifications that will help you to progress within your work and career.
UNISON Wales
UNISON Cymru Wales has a Wales Union Learning Fund (WULF) project that works in partnership with our UNISON branches, employers and other trade unions in workplaces across Wales. We organise and fund online and face-to-face learning activities and work with any public service organisation and UNISON Branch that is keen to develop the skills of its workforce, particularly lower paid workers and those with literacy, numeracy or digital skills needs.
Football Association of Wales
Our workshops explore the numerous ways we can ‘create connections’ within our football world, exploring the many volunteering roles that are available within a club environment, including coaching players at all levels of our game to the numerous club specific roles that help drive the domestic game.
Reaching Wider – South East
The South-East Wales Reaching Wider Partnership is a collaborative programme, funded by HEFCW and led by delivery teams at the University of South Wales, Cardiff Metropolitan University and Cardiff University. Our mission is to engage adults 21 and over with no Higher Education qualifications in courses offering a gateway and roadmap into higher education. We believe that University is for everyone, regardless of background, and provide innovative and exciting opportunities to build confidence and raise aspirations.
Widening Access
Cardiff Metropolitan University Widening Access, offer a range of FREE short courses designed to tackle barriers to entry and provide access pathways to University. These courses provide a first step to help you grow in confidence, develop skills & knowledge and are a great opportunity to try something new.
