Caerdydd u3a

The Cardiff u3a was formed in 1987 and is one of nearly 1000 autonomous u3as throughout the UK. We are a registered charity, No: 1033518. We are also part of the South Wales u3a Network and the all Wales u3a.

The u3a movement is a unique and exciting organisation which provides opportunities for retired and semi-retired people to come together to enjoy good company and to learn together, not for qualifications, but for its own reward.

Membership

We have over 800 members and growing every year.

• You pay an annual membership fee March to February.
• Then join in as many, or as few, of the 45 or so activities on offer as you want.
• The only additional costs are for your own refreshments and the expenses of things you choose to get involved in, such as room hire or transport.
• There are also occasional special events, email communications and a monthly meeting with a speaker which is open to all members.
• You are eligible to take part in events, talks and groups run by Third Age Trust.
